AI-Enhanced Swarm Intelligence Algorithms for SD-WAN Network Traffic Optimization

SD-WANs decouple network control and data planes, changing network traffic management. This design improves speed and resource management with dynamic routing. Network heterogeneity, changing traffic loads, and service expectations make SD-WAN traffic flow optimization difficult. Bird flocks and fish schools inspired swarm intelligence (SI) may solve difficult optimization problems. AI approaches like machine learning help these systems adapt to network factors, enhancing efficiency and decision-making. ACO, PSO, and AI-enhanced SD-WAN network traffic optimization is studied. It analyzes strengths, weaknesses, and AI integration to improve performance. Real-world case studies show these solutions can change network management.
